Other HipBaby Products

Here are some pictures of the hooded towels I make. They are 100% cotton, full bath towel size. They fit from newborn size and up. Towels come with a coordinating ribbon on the hood.
I also make bibs, burp cloths, and washclothes in any color/print flannel you may want.
Bibs tie so children cannot pull them off, and since they are made of flannel, it helps food "stick" to the bib. I also make washcloths that are flannel on one side for softness and terry on the other for washing. They also make wonderful diaper wipes if you use cloth diapers!

North Kitsap Holiday Fest

We had a booth at the North Kitsap Holiday Festival on November 2nd and 3rd. We did really well. I sold out the first day and had to go home and sew more slings and hooded towels.

Here is a picture of a custom sling I made for Jessica. I really like this pattern and colors. I have sold quite a few of the pattern, it has been very popular.

Carry Positions

On the Left is the infant cradle carry. This is the best position for newborns to sleep in.

On the Right is the semi-reclined cradle carry. In this cradle position baby is up higher on the sling towards the rings which helps baby to see out and up at you.

Carry Positions

On the Left the cradle carry you would use for breast/bottle feeding. Note - head is opposite of the rings for feeding.

On the Right is the Kangaroon carry.

Carry Positions

On the Right is the Hip Carry

On the Left is the Tummy to Tummy carry

Port Gamble Farmers Market

On Sunday, June 10th, we tried the Port Gamble Farmers Market for the first time. It went really well. I took with me about 9 slings to sell and some of my homemade hooded bath towels for children. I got a lot of interest in both. It was a fun family day as well. Here are some pictures of me at my booth. My son Kyle, was the perfect baby sling model - he took a nice long nap in the sling - great advertising :)

HipBaby Slings

Well I just figured out how to set up this blog. So I will be keeping my HipBaby business updated here. My main reason for this blog is to have a place for my customers to go for more information on how to use their sling. So I will be working on getting photos, instructions, and hopefully video instructions on this week. I am also going to keep my current slings that are for sale on here as well. I am always free to customize a sling for anyone, letting them choose fabric, colors, sizing, and pocket or trim accents.
